Golf Car Fleet Mechanic

JOB TITLE:  Golf Car Fleet Mechanic
REPORTS TO:  Golf Shop Manager
STATUS:  Non-Exempt
DATE REVISED:  MARCH 2012

Job Summary
Provide a golf experience that ensures excellence in customer service through the presentation and maintenance of the golf car fleet.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all property wide policies, service procedures and standards
  • Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all department specific policies, service procedures and standards
  • Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all safety policies and standards
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
  • Meet with supervisor to review daily assignments and responsibilities
  • Attend required departmental meetings
  • Perform the minimum required daily, weekly, monthly and yearly manufacturers recommended maintenance for all golf car fleet units and on-course refresher cars
  • Maintain annual maintenance logs for all golf car fleet units to include all expenses and labor hours utilized in the maintenance of the golf car fleet and on-course refresher cars
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the technical skills required to perform the maintenance and repair of the golf car fleet and on-course refresher cars
  • Ensure the thorough cleaning of the golf car fleet and the on-course refresher cars is occurring as per standard
  • All other reasonable duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities

  • Implement and support all Whitney Oaks Golf Club initiatives and programs as requested
  • Respond to guest questions, concerns or requests
  • May be required to train other staff members

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1 Year of experience as a Golf Car Fleet Mechanic or similar position
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Experience in effectively resolving customer issues/complaints
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
